Why did you do your boudoir shoot?

This is intended to be a Christmas\birthday\30 year wedding anniversary gift for my husband. Along the way it became a gift for me. For once in my life I wanted to be beautiful sexy and glamorous.

What was your favorite part of the session?

I loved it all. The studio atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I was made to feel comfortable and was asked my preferences from hair and make up to my vision for the boudoir shoot. I didn’t have preferences and asked them to make me look gorgeous and I wasn’t disappointed. The hair and make up team did an amazing job I looked like the best version of myself that ever was. Kim picked my outfits and told me where to stand, how to pose and encouraged me. With that encouragement I was able to step out of my comfort zone and was surprised and pleased with the results.

What did doing this shoot do for your self confidence, self worth, and self image? Tell me your story.

If you knew me personally you would be so amazed that I actually was brave enough to do this. Every day me can be shy. I avoid being the center of attention and hide when pictures are being taken. I’ve always felt awkward and uncoordinated. The last professional photographs I had taken were 30 years ago for my wedding and I passed out during my wedding if that tells you anything. I feel good about myself. At this point very few people know that I did this as I’m sitting on the pictures until Christmas to give them to my husband. I know that I did this and it’s giving me this amazing feeling of inner strength. Who knew???

Was your experience what you were expecting? If not, how was it different?

I didn’t know what to expect. The VIP Facebook page was quite helpful in that I could read other clients experiences.

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

The best part of the whole thing was working with the entire team. I felt like I was with girlfriends goofing around and just happened to have pictures taken.

Is there anything extra you would like to tell us?

I would just like to thank the team. I really enjoyed myself. I was so nervous before but I’d do it again! I chose Baton Rouge Boudoir based on your website. You showed beautiful photographs of ladies my age, not just the 20 somethings. As a 58-year-old woman that impressed me and gave me the confidence to reach out to you and schedule. Until I saw your website I had no idea ladies my age did boudoir.
